As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Ensure that the following items are confirmed and submitted

Author Guidelines
Author Guidelines for Manuscript Submission to JSMI
Before submitting your manuscript to the Journal of Sports Management Issues (JSMI), please ensure that it adheres to the following guidelines:
Formatting for article file:
Utilize the APA 7 guidelines for references.
Employ a 12-point Times New Roman font with double spacing.
Include page numbers at the bottom of each page.
Headings:
Use bold font for the first-level heading.
Employ bold italic for second-level headings.
Third-level headings should be in italics.
Abstract:
Provide a non-structured abstract ranging between 200-250 words.
Include 4-8 keywords specifying the methodology used.
Title Page:
Include a title page with the article title, running head, authors' full names, affiliations, positions, and ORCID identifiers.
Acknowledgments, if any, should be mentioned on the title page.
Specify the use of AI types (if any), disclose any conflicts of interest, indicate ethics approval, and cite funding sources on the title page.
Abstract and Keywords on Title Page:
Replicate the abstract and keywords on the title page, including the methodology type.
Tables and Figures page:
Provide tables in a separate Word file.
Submit images in a separate PowerPoint file.
Include tables and figures where they belong in the main manuscript file as well.
Submission Instructions:
Submit the main manuscript without the mentioned author(s) name, ensuring compliance with the double-blind review condition.
Submit the title page.
Submit tables (if any) and figures (if any) as separate files.
